In January 2023 the Key West Literary Seminar celebrated their 40th anniversary with "Singing America: A Celebration of Black Literature." My series, Storied in Color was the inspiration for the Coffee Butler Amphitheater backdrop. It was an absolute honor to have this work grace the stage with esteemed presenters, authors and poets Kevin Young, Jericho Brown, Annette Gordon Reed, Tayari Jones, Cornelius Eady, Tananarive Due, Maurice Carlos Ruffin and many more.
